Getting Started
How do I find a service provider nearby?
Use "New Search" to find providers within your chosen radius. Filter by service type, rating and distance away. Enable the "ASAP" feature for urgent requests—providers have 5 minutes to accept or decline.
Why do I need location permissions?
Requesta uses your location to show nearby providers and guide them to you via Google Maps. Location access is mandatory for all users.
Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
Yes! Real-time tracking, requests, and communication require an active internet connection.
Token System
What are tokens used for?
Tokens are required to:
Send a service request or book an appointment (1 token)
Use the ASAP feature (1 token, refunded if declined)
Activate "Priority Requests" (2 tokens)
How much does a token cost?
Prices vary by region due to taxes and demand. Check the app for localized pricing.
Can I earn free tokens?
Yes! Refer friends using your unique code. When they subscribe, you get 2 tokens (credited to the app you used).
Do tokens expire?
Tokens do not expire.
Requests & Appointments
Why can't I book directly without a request?
Providers must confirm availability first. After acceptance, you can book appointments.
What if a provider cancels a confirmed appointment?
Tokens are not refunded. Always check provider ratings and response history before booking.
How does the ASAP feature work?
Providers have 5 minutes to accept ASAP requests. If accepted, they must start within 2 hours. No token charged if declined by service provider.
Ratings & Profiles
What do the colored stars mean in ratings?
Stars turn warmer (e.g., blue, to orange to red) as a user's activity increases. More app usage = brighter stars!
Can providers see my rating before accepting requests?
Yes! Providers review your rating history to decide whether to accept your request.
Referrals & Safety
How do referrals work?
Share your code—when someone subscribes:
Clients: 2 tokens go to your Client App
Providers: 2 tokens go to the app you used (Client or Provider)
Can I refer someone to be a provider?
No. Referrals start as clients. They can later apply to become providers via the Client App.
How do I report unsafe behavior?
Block the user immediately and email support@requestamobile.com with details.

How do I become a provider?
You must first be a client. From the Client App, go to "Become a Provider" and submit proof of skills (e.g., licenses, work photos/videos).
Can I offer multiple services?
Yes! List all services under "Category & Service Types" for better visibility.
Tokens & Visibility
How do I earn tokens?
Earn 2 tokens per referral (credited to the app you used)
Why am I charged tokens for creating appointments?
Tokens ensure commitment. You're charged only when you initiate an appointment. If you are able to initiate an appointment that means the Service Provider has agreed to meet you.
Managing Requests
What happens if I miss an ASAP request?
ASAP requests expire in 5 minutes. Frequent misses may lower your ratings.
How do I reschedule an appointment?
Use the reschedule feature (no token cost).
Ratings & Growth
How do colored stars affect my profile?
Active providers get warmer-colored stars, signalling reliability to clients.
How do I rank higher in searches?
Maintain high ratings and fast response times. Ask clients to leave reviews!

Fake referrals result in account suspension.
